…During the summer following his initial experience as a sexual battery detective, Dr. David Roth again leaves his university post and returns to the Miami Police Department where he and Lt. Maria Sosa discover the existence of a secretive and well-organized Russian sex trafficking ring operating in the city. The Mafia-like “Kalashnikov Brotherhood” is rapidly transforming Miami into a major distribution point for young Eastern bloc women and girls. After being kidnapped abroad and smuggled into the seaport city, the victims are sold into sexual slavery in major cities throughout the nation. The investigation by Detectives Roth and Sosa takes a dangerous turn when they uncover evidence indicating that key members of Miami’s own police department are providing protection for the violent Russian mob.
